Abacus Capital (Abacus) and Piedmont Capital (Piedmont) are pleased to announce that a joint venture between the firms recently closed on the acquisition of Wendover Plaza in South Charlotte, NC. Constructed in phases between 1986 and 1991, the 78,800 SF shopping center was 69% at the time of acquisition.
“We are excited to partner together around the acquisition of this irreplaceably located essential retail asset,” said Wes McAdams, a partner at Abacus Capital and William Hodges, principal at Piedmont Capital, in a joint statement.
Piedmont Capital has been retained to lease the project while New Forum will handle property management on behalf of the venture.
